Get ready to savor a juicy burger topped with melty cheese, grilled onions, and the perfect kick from fresh jalapeños!
Ingredients:
4 hamburger buns
4 slices of provolone cheese (or your favorite cheese)
1/2 cup fresh jalapeños, sliced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil for grilling
Instructions:
Prepare the patties: Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Grill the burgers: Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates and place the patties on the grill. Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired doneness.
Add the cheese: During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of provolone cheese on each patty to melt.
Toast the buns: While the burgers are grilling, toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute until lightly golden.
Assemble the burger: Place each cheese-topped burger patty on the bottom bun. Add a layer of fresh jalapeño slices and chopped cilantro.
Serve and enjoy: Top with the other half of the bun and enjoy your spicy, cheesy masterpiece!
