Ingredients:
2 steaks (sirloin, flank, or your favorite cut)
2 eggs
1 cup cooked white rice
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp pine nuts (optional, for crunch)
1-2 green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the rice: Prepare the rice according to package instructions. Set aside.
Cook the steak: Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Cook the steak to your desired doneness (about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare). Once done, remove the steak and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Fry the eggs: In the same skillet, fry the eggs sunny-side up (or to your preference). Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Assemble the dish: Start by placing the cooked rice on a plate. Stack the sliced steak on top of the rice. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and pine nuts for an extra layer of flavor and texture.
Add the eggs: Carefully place the fried eggs on top of the steak.
Garnish and serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy your flavorful and filling meal!.
