Cheesy Bolognese Fries Recipe
Ingredients:
500g French fries
1 cup marinara or Bolognese sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the fries:
Cook the fries until golden and crispy. You can bake, air-fry, or deep-fry them. Sprinkle with a little salt and set aside.
Make the Bolognese sauce:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add the ground beef, cook until browned, and season with salt and pepper.
Stir in marinara or Bolognese sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Add Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
Assemble the dish:
Place the fries on a large plate.
Pour the hot Bolognese sauce evenly over the fries.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top, followed by grated Parmesan.
Melt the cheese:
Place the dish under the broiler for 2-3 minutes or in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) until the cheese melts and gets bubbly.
Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle chopped parsley on top for a fresh touch and serve immediately.
