Stuffed Ham & Cheese Bread Loaf
Looking for a savory, easy-to-make bread recipe? Try this stuffed loaf filled with ham, cheese, and tomatoes — perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients:
8 slices of deli ham
6 slices of cheese (mozzarella or cheddar work best )
1 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the bread: Slice the loaf of bread lengthwise (but don't cut all the way through, leave the bottom intact). Gently hollow out the bread, removing some of the inner soft part to make room for the filling.
Layer the fillings: Drizzle olive oil inside the loaf. Layer the slices of ham, cheese, and halved tomatoes inside the hollowed bread.
Season: Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Top with freshly chopped parsley for added flavor.
Wrap and bake: Wrap the stuffed loaf tightly in foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden and crispy.
Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into portions. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or just on its own!
